Happy Holidays!
Looking for some reasonably-priced moto goodies to give your buddies as holiday gifts? Or perhaps just looking for some suggestions of stuff they can give you? ;-)
Here are a few suggestions...
FINE ART PRINTS SIGNED BY THE PHOTOGRAPHER
Add a touch of moto class to your office or den with a fine art collector's print made and signed by veteran motojournalist Charlie Morey in his Southern California studio.
 Roger DeCoster, Daytona, 1974
Each print is made with the latest in digital imaging technology on Charlie's Epson Photo Stylus R2400 printer and is projected to last more than 100 years with normal care (your great-grand-moto-kids will love you!).
Here's a price list for all the sizes, framed or unframed, we offer:

2006 LEGENDS OF AMERICAN MOTOCROSS CALENDAR
Thanks to the services of Lulu.com, a print-on-demand website, I can now offer the Legends of American Motocross images in a 26-page 2006 calendar. I picked 14 of my favorite pictures for this first-time offering, and the following riders are featured, either individually or in group shots:

VINTAGEARTE.COM PARTNERSHIP
Rick Weedn, who literally grew up in the fine art print business, runs the VintageArte.com website, where one can purchase prints and posters of all types. VintageArte.com offers all their designs in a variety of sizes and pricing, framed or unframed.
Weedn is also a motorcycle enthusiast, so much of his inventory involves motorcycling themes, including images from cycling history. He and I have discussed licensing possibilities before, but just recently we arrived at a mutually beneficial agreement where VintageArte.com will offer my Legends of American Motocross pictures.
To see the work, visit the VintageArte.com home page, type "Morey" into the Search field, and click the Go button. Or just click here.

COMING SOON : NEW L.O.A.M. ADDITIONS
With all this revived interest in the pictures, I'm motivated to dig deeper into the archives in search of new and exciting additions to the Legends of American Motocross Gallery.

Jim Pomeroy, Zoar Moto Park, 1974 Inter-Am.
Although I've already scanned in several new ones, like the Jim Pomeroy shot above, I have to locate and contact each rider in the Legends of American Motocross Gallery to get their permission before I offer their pictures for sale. That takes a little while, but I expect to upload another dozen images to the VintageArte.com site early next year. Stay tuned...

MORE CALENDARS FROM FASTDATES.COM!

Another active motojournalist from the old days, Jim Gianatsis, has a gallery of vintage motocross images, too...and he also produces the Fast Dates Calendar Series for those of you who'd prefer something a little more enticing to hang on the wall.
LET'S WRAP IT UP
That's about it for this issue. Thanks very much for continuing to receive the Charlie Morey / digitalphotography.tv Legends of American Motocross Newsletter! If you know of anyone else who would appreciate seeing it, please forward it along to them. And if you ever decide that enough is enough, it's easy to unsubscribe by clicking the link at the bottom of the page.
Take care,
Charlie
